There will be 12 safari suites in total, with 2 that can interlead for families. Each suite includes an en‑suite bathroom, a private viewing deck, and generous in‑room comforts such as a refreshment station, wardrobe, writing desk, and two fans.

A separate guide room is available and positioned away from guest accommodation.

Lodge facilities will include covered and open-air dining settings (communal dining with private dining available on request), an elevated fire pit, swimming pool with a gazebo, a bar, curio shop, and lounge areas.

Mapula becomes Desert & Delta Safaris first Okavango Delta lodge to offer the full range of activities available across their circuit, year‑round. Twice‑daily scheduled experiences include day and night game drives, motorboat safaris (seasonal), mokoro excursions, walking safaris, fishing, birding, and cultural excursions.

Guests may also book private activities, Specialist Guiding, scenic helicopter flights, and the Desert & Delta Safaris signature Epic Experiences (advance bookings and surcharges apply).

Access: Air - Can be accessed from either Kasane or Maun Airports:

From Maun: Direct air transfer into Mapula’s private airstrip. Flight time: ±30–35 minutes. This is the primary and most common access point for guests.

From Kasane: Direct air transfer into Mapula’s private airstrip. Flight time: ±1 hour 20 minutes (depending on routing and stops). Ideal for guests combining Chobe → Delta.

Activities: Twice‑daily scheduled experiences include day and night game drives, motorboat safaris (seasonal), mokoro excursions, walking safaris, fishing, birding, and cultural excursions.
