Robin's House is a small, private and exclusive house on the banks of the Luangwa River, ideal for young families or friends seeking a more indulgent type of safari. This two bedroom house with main living area provides a shady and cool retreat from the African midday heat and if that is not enough there is a stunning plunge pool to soak in whilst looking over the Luangwa River.

With great views of the river and across into the park but with the added bonus of a cool breeze coming through the trees, the two spacious bedrooms (one double and one triple) each with en-suite bathrooms along with main area are protected from the wilds of Zambia by large set gauze windows, this makes it perfectly safe for families with young children.
The main area with its large comfy sofa and chairs is the perfect place for catching up on the day’s safari with a cold drink before your dinner cooked for you by your private chef. The house offers complete privacy with a team of staff dedicated solely to you to ensure that all your needs are attended to. The guide will enthrall you in the bush as you discover corners and curiosities that the South Luangwa has to offer whilst the host(ess) and the team will ensure that the house is spick and span ready for your return. Families travelling with young children have the additional option of leaving the children at the house where they will be cared for whilst mum and dad enjoy a game drive on their own. Sit back and relax whilst everything is done for you in this private home away from home, Robin's House is the ideal getaway for a more exclusive safari.
Our guiding team is very passionate and will certainly impart some amazing bush insights at a level that will surprise you. Take a walking safari or game drive; or even both. Night game drives are an excellent way to see the nocturnal creatures of the bush. For those with a knack for shopping can take a trip to Tribal Textiles for locally printed fabrics which are sewn into various items – perfect for souvenirs or gifts for friends and family. Perhaps a trip to Kawaza Village to experience an authentic Zambian village, interact with the locals and even sample a local meal. Some fun age appropriate activities are also planned for our younger guests to keep them engaged and enjoying the safari.

Location: South Luangwa National Park, Zambia
Access: Air- 1 hour 30 minutes flight with Proflight from Lusaka, Zambia to Mfuwe Airport. Road- From Mfuwe Airport it is a 40 minute road transfer to the house through colorful village life and some game viewing area as well.
Accommodation: Private safari house, 2 bedrooms (one double, one twin/triple); maximum four adult guests but more if travelling with children. Bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms with both shower and bath tub.
Activities: Private activities include guided walking safaris, day and night game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, cultural/village tour, visit to Chimpembele, visit local market and Tribal Textiles. Some fun age appropriate activities are also planned for children to keep them engaged and enjoying the safari.
