Your journey begins at Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge, set deep within Tarangire National Park, where baobab-studded plains and large elephant herds define the landscape. From there, you ascend to Mandhari Lodge, perched high above Lake Manyara with sweeping views across the Great Rift Valley.
The adventure continues to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a lush volcanic caldera teeming with wildlife, before moving into the central Serengeti plains at Naona Moru, alive with predators and vast herds. Finally, the itinerary culminates in the northern Serengeti at Kaskaz Mara, perfectly positioned near the Mara River for the dramatic crossings of the Great Migration.
Day 1 : ARUSHA
Arrive Kilimanjaro Airport. Meet & transfer to Rivertrees Country Inn, Arusha.
Day 2 - 3: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Pick up from Rivertrees Country Inn and transfer by road to Tarangire National Park.
Day 4 - 6: LAKE MANYARA, NORONGORO, KARATU TOWN
Begin with a full‑day game drive from Tarangire to Lake Manyara, continue with a day exploring the Ngorongoro Crater, and conclude with a cultural visit to Karatu Town.
Day 7 - 9: CENTRAL SERENGETI
Transfer to Lake Manyara airstrip for flight to Seronera airstrip,central Serengeti.
Day 10 - 12: NORTHERN SERENGETI
Transfer to Seronera airstrip for flight to Kogatende airstrip, northern Serengeti.
Day 13: DEPART
Game drive to Kogatende airstrip for flight to Kilimanjaro Airport.
Arusha (1 night)
RIVERTREES COUNTRY INN - a charming boutique lodge near Arusha, nestled in the foothills of Mt Meru, with views toward Kilimanjaro. The Inn set on a former coffee estate sprawls across 10 acres of fertile greenery, with cottages tucked among tall trees along the Usa River, offering rustic elegance, lush gardens, and warm hospitality.
Tarangire (2 nights)
TARANGIRE NDOVU TENTED LODGE - located in the heart of Tarangire, Tanzania’s wild land and landscapes. Tarangire is famed for its massive elephant herds, true sense of wilderness and a gentle backdrop of baobabs. It is the lesser visited but more intriguing park on the northern circuit. At Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge, there are 12 permanent tents made up of ten standard suites, and 2 x two bed room inter-connected family suites.
Each tent is 20m long by 8m wide and framed with wooden logs, metal piping and then wrapped in heavy duty safari rip-stop canvas made locally at Morogoro, southern Tanzania, plus the additional cooling feature of shade-clothing over the entire tent. Configuration of tents - double, twin, single, triple and family.
Manyara, Ngorongoro (3 nights)
MANDHARI LODGE - aligned with soaring flamingos, Mandhari Lodge is situated high on the Manyara Escarpment which forms part of the Great Rift Valley. ‘Mandhari’ means ‘view, scenery, landscape’ in Swahili, and with a bird’s eye view of the great expanse from Lake Natron to Mondulli Mountains and across Lake Manyara, this lodge offers breathtaking views from sunrise to sunset.
Swaddled in the colors of the earth, the lodge offers a unique medley of accommodation options; nine dramatic, glass-fronted standard suites, one honeymoon nest suite. All suites and villa have an unobstructed view across the dreamy landscape below.
Central Serengeti (3 nights)
NAONA MORU CAMP - located on an elevated viewing point beside the famous Moru Kopjes, this tented camp allows for drive in and game package clients to explore the resident and migratory wild game all year round. The landscape pans from the great southern plains of the Serengeti into the central hub of the most famous national park in Africa.
The tented suites cater for honeymooners with private bush dinners, a small group of friends and even families. Large tents can accommodate families with two adults and up to three children.
Northern Serengeti (3 nights)
KASKAZ MARA CAMP - perched in the heart of the northern Serengeti, Kaskaz Mara Camp offers an exclusive gateway to the drama of the great migration. Just a short drive from Kogatende Airstrip and the Mara River, this camp provides an ideal base to witness the iconic wildebeest crossings and the vibrant wilderness that surrounds them.
The camp features ten spacious tented suites, thoughtfully designed to blend comfort and style. Each suite boasts large netted windows for natural cooling, flowing cotton curtains, oversized beds, and handcrafted Swahili-inspired decor.
